The minimal “drop off” factor from Raya to Kepa, when comparing Raya to Neto makes this deal so so good on many facets.
Given how cooked Raya looked late in the season too.
Also good by the club / recruiters to see an opportunity and swoop on it instantly.

Knowing Levy and how he operates. It feels as if the trigger being pulled today has a financial aspect behind it, as to why he wasn’t sacked before today. He was appointed on June 6, 2023.

WHY DOESNT MINE LOOK LIKE THAT”

If you have him, Trossard, Martinelli, (new striker) & Ethan on the bench.

Doesn’t it finally give us the depth & punch off of the bench that we have lacked in the past three seasons?

When we needed a goal against Bayern in 23-24, it was Eddie.
That didn’t instil the opposition with fear.

Neto gets a 10 for his attempted “save” in the champions league surely

But when there are mitigating circumstances around 2 of the 3? Or are people too lazy to actually look under the covers and just go purely on results?

It’s amazing how harshly we are analysed.
+ when you look at City needing to spend 200 million to get out of a hole.
How poor Chelsea can be, with Palmer going missing for months. Villa’s form.
How shambolic spurs & united are.
Yet it’s Arsenal with 7-8 players missing that are judged hardest?

I am concerned about the vitriolic nature of the media and fans if Liverpool were to hammer us on the weekend.
Personally it wouldn’t be a shock & I’m half expecting it / already forgiving for it. This group have everything and have hit the wall.
