Unions have power due to their members. We fight for our memebers, thrive with them,we only exist because of them.
I'm now the Chair for CEIU Ontario Young Workers Committee. The first chair as we're a new committee. It's daunting, but so is being a young worker. It's time this generation thrived.

So happy that @joelharden.bsky.social will in the not too distant future become my MP. He showed up and supported striking workers, came out to labour day, joined those marching for peace in Gaza and doesn't let a world full of hate shake his convictions.

Within my union I'm a young worker. I love my union but within the labour movement more needs to be done to make sure all in the union are represented. I'm so thankful for the opportunities I get to participate but to my fellow union members let's work to ensure our power serves all memebers.
