We need to figure out how to draft a counter counter sabotage plan.

If they invade Miracle Mile, we'll just be like "Hey, I think there are some mexicans hiding in that pond over there that is definitely made of water."

@side.coreymbarnes.com By the way, with the North Pomona extension, are you planning to update your profile picture?

Yes, but that wasn't a problem before Metro permanently suspended regular fare inspections in 2020.

I grew up next to it and I still cannot get over how utterly bizarre it is that this thing managed to survive through weird regulatory and bankruptcy clause quirks until 1956 despite being doomed from the moment the Norristown branch opened in 1912.

Do you want to create a thread of requests/appeals you would like to get to but don't have time for, and then other people can claim them?

In 2024, there were 51-58 unarmed non-White americans shot by police. As a matter of good-faith curiosity, how much lower would you need that number before you were willing to call 911 on a Black person, say, doing vandalism?

I agree!

1. Under California's §640, LA Metro operates a transit court that issues administrative citations with no criminal record. The fine is just $75 and there's a community service option built into the law.

2. Everyone making under $53k gets 20 free rides a month.

3. The fare is only $1.75.

[In smoke-filled room at 100 Main St]

"I'm telling you, if we didn't have Joe Linton and his non-stop records requests, Vermont Ave would have six lanes by now!"

"Um, it already does, sir."

"Oh. Well it could always use more. Anyway, the point is, doesn't that guy have a job?"
