That was in Oakland, actually. The island is part of alameda (which is why NBC 11 reported it as such) but the demonstration was on the other side of the bridge in Oakland.

Actually, there aren’t any good billionaires. Plenty of middle class SF people who have managed to stay in place despite all number of forces coming together to dislodge them knew that ten years ago.

I’m inclined to say that, in the end, which came not too long after the beginning, Hitler was bad for Germany’s white people, also. Call the self interest of Trump voters a line of defense. I’ll take whatever we can get.
