They dont have the military capacity to do so. The russian troops stationed there are well armed and defended. It would also lead to Russian intervention which Moldova would not be able to withstand. Also, Moldova is neutral according to their constitution.

This is the correct way forward. No matter what you feel about him, he was right to push for this. The US can focus on the pacific and the EU can hold the balance of power in Europe and Eurasia.

Baroque certainly did make its way to Poland. This architecture is absolutely typical of almost all of Central europe. I have no idea if baroque influenced this, but I would argue that regular contemporary architecture in Italy is quite different.

I agree with everything you've said. However, his failure to condemn Russia's genocidal invasion has been extremely disappointing.

It most definitely isnt. It would take a monumental effort from all the decent people in the US to undo all of the damage thats being done.
I dont doubt that they are capable of forcing change, but the grip that media and social media has on so many is what Im unsure about..

Thats a very optimistic possibility. I just feel that realistically, too much of the population is too poorly educated and caught up in online propaganda for anything to change there in a meaningful way. I dont see these issues being alleviated any time in the future

Definitely. Which will probably be a positive for the world in the long term, ironically. I don't see how there can be any positive for the US in any of this
