I’m planting tulips in DECEMBER in New York! You can plant spring bulbs anytime the ground isn’t frozen solid in autumn or winter.

I also planted some snowdrops, crocus, and hyacinth. Can’t wait for these to sprout!

I’ve never eaten fresh tomatoes from the garden in DECEMBER! I picked the green tomatoes off my plants last Thursday before our first freeze and it’s nice and red now. I also got a few lemons from my tree. Not bad for New York!

Let’s pretend winter doesn’t exist. (This used to be my house room before the plants took over 😂)

Happy December!! It’s the first day of Meteorological winter & it is brutally cold!

Yesterday was 29F in my yard, today is 25F. I was stepping out of work & these encore azaleas and pansies look so good. The azaleas might get nipped this morning but the pansies will be fine!
