I think one of the most interesting learnings of Genie 3 + SIMA is that generalists beat specialists and it's not even close.

So, I don't get this phenomenon where companies build something great (e.g. @browsercompany @RewindAI)
High usage, great pmf, even with revenue or high potential.
Then they just abandon it in favor of something nobody asked for.
At least make it open source when you move on...

It's such an MVP move to casually drop those weights to HF within OpenAI's flashy marketing week.
This unlocks so many use cases for extremely sensitive industries that require fully-private on-prem intelligence. Think about your local doctor being able to run this in his office.
