It’s nice to share old artwork here. This one is “Butterfly Ears” from my transforming pets into fantasy creatures series.
While drawing “Daughter Trees” in the pandemic I meditated on the community of redwood groves. Saplings called “daughter trees” spring from fallen mothers and they’re nurtured by the community. It gave me peace.
