Poor individual showings are rewarded. Good individual showings are ignored. Man management is, from the outside looking in, awful. So while there might not be 'better' options out there, I'm not sure how Slot sticks around.

That's the biggest red flag, imo. You can't just ride this out and assume we'll figure it out because I genuinely don't think Slot has actually figured out what he wants. The strikers are feeding off of scraps and now we're seeing diminishing returns from Salah.

I think that’s way too simplistic a view of management though. I don’t disagree at all - Slot could very easily win a league title again at Liverpool, he’s got that in him, but once things go sour beyond form they very rarely turn around unless something drastic changes. Maybe Mo going does that?

No I’m suggesting we’re crap because there are flaws in our setup which were visible when the players weren’t giving 100% (understandably) and now they’re super obvious - and the coach can’t solve them

Don’t disagree, but it’s becoming less and less likely that Slot will make the changes necessary for fixing this if he hasn’t already - which is why he probably needs to be the big change. But I don’t know who the replacement is

I’m not sure they’ll sack him before the end of the season but I’m also seeing no solutions to problems which have existed since March, which means this is likely terminal for Slot come the summer or if we miss CL

Also 3 points off missing the entire Champions League knockouts entirely and 3 points from 14th in the PL. It is categorically awful
