You’ll need a fake out gift for someone else that you have her wrap - otherwise she’ll know you have her…

Disney could start by just giving targeted 6 months free Hulu/disney+ to people in zip codes of a single small Sinclair broadcast area as a shot across the bow

In all seriousness- just put alphablocks on the tv for your kid. They’ll get a bit of a British accent but they’ll learn phonics (also number blocks is magic as well)

The story about someone bribing you has to be worth more than 200!!!

I try not to make fun of people’s photos, but writing…”Armed with a Bachelor of Arts in Politics and Law from The University of Texas at San Antonio, I've honed my skills, earning a certificate in legal studies along the way. Moreover, I've also made sure to diversify my skillset along the way…”

When 17% of 20-40yo American men over 7ft are in the NBA…(and that’s just the element of genetics that are visible - unlike say James Harden having 99.999th percentile deceleration)

Trust you here, but isn’t it at least possible it’s non weather events causing this dynamic (eg labor uncertainty, materials uncertainty, demand uncertainty)

What’s the difference between powered off and powered on (with a passcode password). Serious question - on my phone it’s just clicking the side button I think?

Age and insufficient fight, and tie the two together. Not up to task for the moment, etc. Beyond the needless intraparty divisiveness of I/P, it’s a losing argument here

As a lifelong resident - hard disagree. It’s an educated district but one where we don’t pay attention to elections (Dems win), so the machine advantage is huge. People vote names they know / prioritize experience here (this take ignores the 5% probability that every dem incumbent in the us loses)

Throughly convinced me. Not only am I changing my bracket, I’m 3 team parlaying at +29397. $25 to make 7.5k.

Call your reps. Doesn’t matter if they voted yes. Let them know if they aren’t leading the charge for leadership change, we’ll assume they were in on the capitulation and you’ll support their primary challenger.

It’s why now is the time to stay on the phones. If your senator voted no, call them and tell them you’ll assume it was a fake no, they support the capitulation, and they should be primaried if they aren’t leading the charge to change leadership tomorrow

Purge has to resonate more broadly than regime change. To the less political citizen, purge brings to mind the movies - that’s scary; regime change is a non-event, a changing of the guards. A regime change is supposed to happen (a new party won).

I think 1 of 2 things. 1 It’s ripe for potential corruption. Favored actors get tariff exceptions. Those that find a way to funnel him money get tariff exceptions. 2. He may just truly think it’s other counties that have to pay for with no impact to US consumers. I think it’s mostly the former.

Counterpoint maybe is Jews? While originally a story of immigration, you can have a cultural reverence for education that drives results multiple generations post immigration (said as a 3rd generation American Jew). Maybe that has a half life though
