I almost lost my shit with my colleagues the other day. I allow AI use in my classroom with rules to help moderate. One of my colleagues asked why she teaches paraphrasing in her class if my students are using AI for it in mine… and I’m like that’s a good fucking question why are you?

This is my stance on teaching. As an educator I am fully aware of the damage it can do for my profession and the students I serve. The only solution is to embrace it and claim a place at the table where its future is being decided.
