Fascinating analysis, thank you Sunder. Any thoughts on what are some of the drivers and motivations behind conservative MPs who voted yes? Was it the ‘personal liberty’ argument or something else?

I found the most unhelpful comments by MPs the ones equating young people wanting to commit suicide with terminally ill people needing access to assisted dying. They’re not the same thing and shouldn’t be conflated.
