Let’s Get RECed (again)

If LLMs were just an AI research achievement, like AlphaGo a decade ago, they would be technically impressive. As a commercial product getting crammed into every bit of software I use, they are overhyped and unimpressive.

There’s no such thing as a “left” philanthropic funder. Anyone with significant assets is *literally* invested in the status quo and therefore conservative, scattershot nods to individual progressive causes doesn’t erase that.

This is the take from the person who wrote a bunch of wizard stories? Where certain magic words can do literal violence?
