Months after disappearance, remains of 14-year-old Samuel Bird discovered near Edmonton
After months of searching in the Edmonton area, the Edmonton Police Service has confirmed that the remains of 14-year-old Indigenous teenager Samuel Bird have been found. Bird went missing at the beginning of June, sparking a large community effort to help locate him. Bird, who would have turned 15 in September, was discovered Thursday in a wooded area outside Edmonton.
