A third side profile angle. One shot, almost assuredly a fatal hit.

Politicians and political commentators were previously able to take positions on gun violence without fear that they or their families would be a victim of gun violence. That has changed over the past few years with politicians from both parties and political commentators being directly targeted.

This is why he does it. You and every other member of the media prominently lead with his accusation or false statement. As people casually scroll through social media or hear the news this is the only part they take away. That repetition becomes ingrained and people believe it to be true.

This clearly quantifies the problem with the Democratic party as communication failure, not policy failure.

CIA Director John Ratcliffe is subtly stating that he did not share classified information while avoiding testifying under oath whether it was shared by others. This distinction does not matter. He had a duty to stop the conversation and sharing when he saw it. They compromised national security.

Clear as a summer day this is public corruption by Trump.

The legal definition from Cornell: a government official violates federal law when he/she asks, demands, solicits, accepts, or agrees to receive anything of value in return for being influenced in the performance of their official duties.

An incredibly succinct demonstration on how to deal with Donald Trump and Elon Musk. The leaders of this administration put zero thought or planning into anything they do and have no idea how to respond when challenged.

I appreciate the courage and candidness here, but I do find it strange Mr. Scotten is this obtuse as to the President's role as there is zero probability Mr. Bove was freelancing here. This decision was made by the President and dictated to the acting U.S. deputy attorney general for execution.

Read the MetaAI summaries to see an incredible shift in the disposition of the Facebook userbase towards Mr. Zuckerberg in such a brief period of time. I wonder if he is at all reflective of his actions, or the perception of them, in causing this shift?

This was an intentional test of acceptance. It is absolutely not acceptable. The United States of America defeated the Nazis at the cost of nearly 300,000 lives in combat. Their sacrifice will not be sullied by allowing this from our ruling class.

Is Mr. Zuckerberg firing the entire Trust and Safety team? If not, how will geo-relocating the same "bias" employees remove their bias? Does he believe bias is a product of geographical surroundings?

Well this is interesting. It is the actual Monday Night Football game between the Cincinnati Bengals and Dallas Cowboys but converted to a Simpsons themed cartoon in real-time and the announcers reference Simpsons in their commentary.

@nytpitchbot.bsky.social comes up with some of the most ridiculous and unbelievable headlines and it is almost too absurd even as satire, but then @nytimes.com tops it with this insanely stupid take:

To those who elected #Trump to deal with inflation: You do NOT want prices to return to 2019 levels, that is deflation which is not predictable or controllable. It is very volatile with the most likely outcome being a massive contraction in the economy, very high unemployment, and a depression.

The most incredible (and disturbing) part of the #JDVance couch incident is the fact he described it in such vivid and self-gratifying detail that it required 3 whole pages in his book. WTF?

During a mass user migration event it would be expected that users are returning to the legacy platform in abnormally high numbers to confirm their settings and content copied completely. 1/2
