Back home from the hospital again after my surgery two weeks ago and life sucks again.
Life is so much harder when you don’t lie in a hospital bed all day.
Everything hurts. Hard to find a position to relax in. There really is something to be said for those totally adjustable hospital beds.

After years, I finally got us a month of Netflix. Mostly, so our little one can watch K-Pop Demon Hunters. But it also means I get to finally watch lots of stuff I missed. Like The Sandman, which is awesome.

I find it interesting that my mind automatically goes to English when I start writing something. I could write my journals & personal writings in German, but somehow I don’t. Not sure if English has become a primary language or if I require this extra layer of distancing between me and my writing.

Sometimes I wonder why I’m making doctors appointments at all. What’s the point if you sit in the waiting room for hours anyway?
