I tried going bold and flashy.

But then I remembered: I’m an animator, not a web designer.

So I stripped it back to what feels natural – minimalism.
Focus on the work. Clean structure. No noise.

Some good news though!

I also gave my website a full refresh, cleaned up my brand a bit, and worked on some projects I’m excited to share soon.

But here’s the thing: Every project, every late-night learning session, every mistake corrected all adds up. The skills you struggled with months ago are second nature now. The growth is there, even if you can’t always see it.

It’s something I constantly remind myself.

Thanks, Colton! I totally relate, I've had such a big journey with different software too. Even though I’ve finally settled on my main tools, I still love trying new things for fun and inspiration!

And about progress, I feel like it’s not always something we can see, but it’s definitely there!

The snake is just a path with points attached to nulls, with its head as a separate layer following one of them. Simple animation, quick turnaround, but the result turned out surprisingly well!

Sometimes, the most spontaneous ideas end up looking the best!

The character was already rigged from another animation, which saved time. The only thing left was figuring out which Chinese element to add, and obviously, the best option was a snake! 🐍

And I’m still on this journey, constantly learning and pushing my work further.

Through consistent effort, I saw a huge improvement in my skills and discovered my true passions.

These projects also led to exciting collaborations, from small clients to big companies, and all kinds of creative partnerships.
