I'm glad you explained it, because this is what I get at that link;

Well... it could be worse.

Leave it to Nintendo to design controller attachments that are /even easier/ to break. And this time, it's not on the overly-expensive-but-easy-to-replace detachable controllers.

And I'm certain they didn't fix drift.

Pass.

Huh. It's almost like lighting the sky on fire isn't a great idea.

In Arizona.

During a multi-decade drought.

In the hottest year in 130 years of record keeping.

All I could smell was gunpowder for hours last night. The sooner we move to drone lightshows, the better.

#3DPrint for the kids for Christmas

Worked with their Moms beforehand to make sure they had personalized/favorite colors

~3.5 hours each at 166% on @bambulabglobal.bsky.social X1C

Cheated a bit by not doing mid-layer color changes, ended up liking the wing accents

Okay, after posting past night, I headed to bed. Spent a few hours on it this morning (because I needed that filament for the next print on my schedule).

After I figured out a rough process, it wasn't terrible, but it was still time consuming.

It's on a roll now, and printing via AMS.

This is after about two hours of untangling.

I am a fool on a quest that leads only to madness.

I will see you all on the other side. You will know me by 275 yard stare, broken only by occasional - hysterical - laughter.

I thought I could transfer a reusable @bambulabglobal.bsky.social spool from one refill to another without spoiling the donor roll.

I have made a terrible mistake.

After realizing my error (and still needing the reusable roll for another color), this image shows the beginning of my rescue effort.

Since I'm posting my old art, I may as well post my most famous @blender.org render.

Not sure how impressive it is anymore, but - for context - this render is over 10 years old now. I was going for an 80's magazine ad vibe.

Another random #art thing. I made this Kinetic Sand Castle while I was mentally rebuilding an AWS network. The smaller bricks were about 25x12x8 mm, and liked to crumble.

Definitely easier to build a Sand Castle with bricks than with moulds, but this still took forever xD

I'm primarily a 3D graphic artist (via @blender.org), but I was going through my Twitter export from 2022 and found a bunch of random #art things I'd done.

This first one is a #sculpture of my hand in Kinetic Sand, which I'm still very proud of.
