A morning undue for rain, yet it rains all the same. For the day begins with stoic resolve. Gaze out the window to a world that feels drawn closed by curtains of rain. Drapes of rain shutter sight, but the sheets of one's bed cover the body. A statue yet unveiled, for the mind has yet to speak.

I think that if there was an organization or business that incentivized such endeavors we would see them. Like the closest we see to anyone promoting their philanthropy or sciences is probably Bill Gates. Until someone sells them in the lifestyle they're not going to seek it for themselves.

I'd say it's more a sign of the times. In wealthier circles they don't stop competing. At least in popular culture the measure of success currently isn't in a legacy or achievements it's in what you continue doing. That or you join that globe trotting luxury circuit to maintain affluence.
