Fuck you. You threw away the only power you had against the MAGAts, against the will of your constituents and every single person who voted Democrat in this country. And I say this as someone who would have been personally affected by the shutdown, as my spouse is a federal employee. Resign!

I'm a spouse of a federal employee, living in an area with primarily military members and federal employees who will all be impacted financially if the shutdown happens. And still, I beg you and all Democrats to hold the line! We are willing to sacrifice our finances to ensure democracy prevails.
