Been a difficult month.. my beloved Suzy started to self mutilate and it escalated really fast - ended up needing caudectomy. Op wound not healing well in spite of antibiotics, sedatives, cone and bandages. Watching her trying to play rugby with a cone is tragicomedy.

I have no work … finished an RFQ response today and looked around to an empty schedule! Hope it lasts for a short while at least.. and no grinch type sends a special gift with a NYE deadline (wouldn’t be the first)

My dogs are farting like oxen today. It was so ‘fragrant’ that I had to check the upstairs hall for a rogue poo. Have sent them outside for safety. What the hell did they find to eat??

I could have sworn I saw a koala cuddling the base of a vine in the vineyard I was walking in today. It wasn’t a koala. Obviously. It was the protective plastic round the base and the way shadows and low sunlight were falling. Still a bit of a disconcerting sight in SW France

This is when I find out that I’m shouting into the void: I want #Recommendations for #WellyBoots. Must allow women with small feet to have calf muscles: I’m a sturdy country girl. Must be able to withstand thorns, bramble bushes etc without getting holes in the soles immediately. Must be waterproof!

It’s blowing dogs off chains down here in 32, so it must be really bad further north where the actual storm system is. Dog1 wants to go out, Dog2 is snoozing in my bed. I am about to start work again for an RFP someone sat on for a week & now needs tomorrow. Bastard

I’m what world do lawyers need workers welfare compliance (other than re hours!) that stuff is for construction guys not hundred of dollars-an-hour lawyers.. & yet the procurement guys have to have it

Dogs have had their toothbrushes and suggesting that it’s time to go to bed. Now it’s getting colder it’s pretty nice to have a dog tucked in at either side, except I have to wriggle like a caterpillar to get out of bed without their permission. Who rules?!
