They really pulled out all the stops this year! Towards the end of my performance, two US Air Force supersonic jets flew over above the crowd, which was an incredible first experience for me!

I’m incredibly grateful for this opportunity and for everyone who cheered me on. Hope you enjoy this moment as much as I loved being part of it. 🎶⚾🩷

But ultimately, performing isn’t about perfection… it’s about sharing joy. Creating connection. Freedom of expression. Having the space to grow as an artist and the courage to show up and give it your all, even when your inner critic is loud.

Most musicians will related to this: As a singer who often catches herself being self-critical, I’ll admit my inner voice couldn’t help but pick apart things like how the extra adrenaline affected my pitch and breath control.

Not only did the Wicked movie not disappoint - it exceeded expectations. The amount of talent, work, and attention to detail that went into the production of this film is astounding. Part 2 can’t come soon enough!

I first heard “Popular” when I was about 10 years old. In high school I had the good fortune of watching Wicked with my family on Broadway in NYC. A few years ago I saw it again at Broadway Sacramento. I have sung along to the soundtrack countless times.
