Nix is gone in favor of Brew + Mise. Karabiner is gone in favor of ZMK configuration + a few remappings via Keyboard Maestro.

I think I settled on AI stack with Claude Code (integrated into Neovim) + Supermaven for autocomplete. I worked in Zed for some time: BYOK configuration is simply unusable; their Pro plan is much better, but not as good as Claude Code. So all AI subs are canceled except for Claude.

I also don't see much benefit in having 5K over 4K, considering the price diff, since non-integer scaling is not an issue these days, and the visual difference is minor, at least for me. I’d much appreciate 120+Hz rather than a minor resolution bump.

A 27" takes up less space on a desk, and it is easier to view edge-to-edge, since the edges are closer.
