jj often talks about "game plan discipline" when the team loses, but i thought tonight there were holes in the game plan. the execution was not there either, but you can't survive defensively when you expose your perimeter defense to get targeted WHILE ALSO allowing ad to be pulled to the perimeter.

Rough back-to-back today for the Lakers. I heard the team was scheduled to arrive at their San Antonio hotel today at 4 a.m. Spurs were in Utah last night as well.

free throws will get all the shine, but the lakers did not rebound well enough & did not defend well enough. gave up switches way too easily and let franz have his choice of guys all night. he picked on austin a ton in the 2nd half, but also had way too many possessions where he just got to choose.

Last year, in his 21st season, LeBron had his first ever 20 point, 20 rebound game. Now this year, in his 22nd season, he has 4 straight triple-doubles for the first time in his career. These aren’t longevity achievements, they’re “I’m breaking new ground 20+ years in” feats. An unfathomable player.
