Britain is being destroyed by entitled billionaires. Tax the rich instead of subsidising them.

Compare and contrast. Labour are finished as a campaigning force. Only Green Party can stop Reform in Gorton & Denton. The polls say it, the people say it, a vote for Labour lets in Reform.

I find it curious Andy Burnham is portrayed as being “Soft Left” in Labour, when his voting record is the same authoritarian rubbish Starmer does. He voted for Iraq. He voted for 90 days detention without charge. He voted for ID cards. He voted for mass surveillance of communications. If this is […]

The Labour Government allowing elections to be delayed to support Local Government Reorganisation is ridiculous. Democracy isn't efficient and it takes effort - but it is absolutely vital.

Congrats to Liam Pizzey for defeating Reform UK in Horsley. This marks the first time the Green Party has taken a seat from Reform.
Here in Worcester, @mastodon.green/@worcestergreenparty are the only ones who can stop Reform, and that's what the polls show too […]

Jenrick being accepted into Reform has to be the ultimate insult to Reform voters. The guy who broke our asylum system and presided over the rise of the inhumane asylum hotels; if he's acceptable there is apparently no end to the Tory never-weres that Reform will accept. Liz Truss next? 😂

First Bike Bus of 2026 at St Barnabas Primary was a good one, lots of kids, parents and volunteers. I'm always amazed at how well the kids get up the hill on Green Lane right at the end.
Well done everyone and thank you for coming - and thank you to Bike Worcester for the volunteer
support.

Great to be in Cardiff today for the Action Day to get Greens elected to the Senedd for the first time. We are here to fight the climate crisis and to replace Labour. #hopeishere #climatejustice #socialjustice #racialjustice

Pleased to be out supporting the Oldbury Park Bike Bus this morning in St John. Beautiful crisp weather and loads of parents and children helping to reduce traffic and air pollution by pedalling to school. My first Bike Bus of 2026 as well.

American imperialism is no more acceptable than Russian imperialism. International law is there to stop the idea that might is right. Our Government must ask urgent questions of the Trump Administration about what justification they have for a violent attack on a sovereign nation.

An early Christmas present on Gregorys Bank from Councillor Matt Jenkins, with a new dropped kerb to make it easier to get onto National Cycle Route 45 along the canal towpath. A nice improvement for active travel. Thank you Matt!

Hydrogen is not a practical solution to almost anything. Yet Worcester’s Labour MP has raised it more times than the hospital, schools and flooding in Parliament. Is he the MP for Worcester, or Worcester Bosch?

'Not enough hydrogen' for Liverpool City Region's hydrogen buses
The fleet of 20 hydrogen-powered buses - half of which have never operated - will run on batteries.

If Labour no longer feels like your home, it’s because The Labour Party has left you. You’ll receive a warm welcome in The Green Party. Let’s talk.

Great to see the city centre packed out for the last day of the Worcester Victorian Christmas Fayre, despite the soggy weather. Great food, great atmosphere and I came home with a new hat as well.

Billionaire wealth has doubled since the pandemic. Where's Labour's focus on taxing wealth so we can cut housing, energy and public transport costs? That's how you fix Britain. Not by targeting people who are already struggling to get help […]

Pleased to speak out about the criminal activity and unacceptable attitudes in Reform UK. They’re wrong, full stop, so why are they so common at the top of the party?

Reform UK 'should be screening for criminal behaviour and homophobia' - councillor
Reform UK should screen staff and politicians for criminal behaviour and “homophobic attitudes”, a councillor has claimed.

Today we’ll get latest net immigration figures - They’ll show immigration for work is plummeting.

Why is this not part of the discussion on Rachel Reeves balancing her books & stalled growth?

For every 100,000 drop in net immigration, the OBR adds £7bn to the deficit. #r4today

In 2024, UK billionaire wealth increased by £35m a day, or £12.7bn over the whole year. In the budget, the Labour Government increased taxes on ordinary people by more than that. Why is everyone but multi-millionaires and billionaires being asked to pay more? We need to tax wealth, not work.
