Mass starvation. Ethnic cleansing. Genocide.

That is what our government is enabling — and it should be eternally ashamed.

End all arms sales to Israel now.

It was great to catch up with Chelsea Manning.

Chelsea paid an enormous price for exposing US war crimes to the world — and continues to speak out against state surveillance and defend the human rights of others.

She is proof that acts of courage can change the world.

Today I have called for a Chilcot-style inquiry into the UK’s involvement in Israel’s assault on Gaza.

Our concerns have routinely been met with evasion and silence. We need a full, public, independent inquiry with the legal power to establish the truth. news.sky.com/story/starme...

Since Labour took office, 10,000 more children have been plunged into poverty by the refusal to scrap the two-child benefit cap.

Increasing military spending while millions of children go hungry is not a tough decision. It’s the wrong decision.

As Wes Streeting trumpets the role of the private sector in “saving the NHS”, it’s worth remembering what happened the only time a whole NHS hospital was handed to the private sector to run.

The care failings - gaining the worst CQC rating ever - were *chilling* (& barely reported at the time):

Keir Starmer's government decided not to impose a full arms embargo on Israel in order to protect its relationship with the US, court documents show.

The maintenance cost of the 'special relationship' is being paid with Palestinian lives.

Despite ICC arrest warrants & the ICJ's interim ruling, the UK continues to export components for F-35 jets, facilitates arms deliveries via RAF Akrotiri & conducts daily surveillance flights over Gaza.

The UK is not a passive bystander to genocide.

It is an active participant.

In light of this, how can the UK justify continuing to sell F-35’s to Israel and continuing negotiations around deeper trade ties?

The ICC’s arrest warrants are long overdue.

The Prime Minister & Foreign Secretary must immediately endorse this decision. That is the bare minimum.

Will the UK government now, finally, honour its international obligations to prevent genocide and end all arms sales to Israel?

The International Criminal Court has issued arrest warrants for Netanyahu & Gallant for war crimes & crimes against humanity.

The UK government must comply with the ICC, end all arms sales, impose economic sanctions & suspend its trade deal with Israel.

Nothing less will do.

If they did, they would be admitting their own complicity in one of the greatest crimes of our time.
