Already got a trip planned this year to go back to the Elk Mountains here in Colorado! It's tough to beat the views there! Some of the trails are a bit steep though...

Just finished getting setup for the weekend! Gonna try and create more complicated sounds going forward. Also, my dog makes an appearance here trying to remind me not to forget about going on a post-work walk to the park...

Here's a little something from practice today! I was trying to figure out timing on a weird transition. Anyways, I've decided this piece is going to be my project this week. Going to try and actually complete a thing I wrote! This track is called By The Sea.

Well, I survived my road trip! Driving from Colorado to the west coast def provides a lot of scenic views. Here are a couple pics from a section of the drive where you enter this cool looking canyon (I think in or near Utah?).

Tomorrow I'm going on a road trip out west so I pulled out my travel guitar (GS Mini) that I'm bringing with! Was testing out the new strings playing random stuff and ended up doing a poor impression of Blackbird by The Beatles.. Anyways, here it is!

This is from a backpacking trip I went on a while back! Pretty sure this is Upper Slate Lake. All I remember from that trip was being exhausted when we finally got there. The views were def worth it though!

Last weekend one of my friends called out that I have no wall decorations anywhere in my house. I took offense and now have the first 5 things I'm gonna hang on my wall. Just need more stuff like this, a few paintings and maybe some of my photos and I'll be good

I think I've played more electric guitar in the past 3-4 months than I have in the 5 years prior. I've always been more of an acoustic guy but recently acquired guitar pedals are changing me... Just need a Gibson in this collection and all will be right in the world 🙂

Here's a little something from practice today! Had reverb + delay + blues driver up in there to stress test the acoustic amp. Anyways, I think I finally got past my first bout of self-doubt in my play the last month or so. Hopefully I'll post more regularly again!
