Honestly the only part of his whole turn that is half-way surprising is the far right Christian stuff. I would have assumed he would go more like woo-woo David Icke style.

It also seems that Charles actually has political views as well. Even if as a republican I would like him replaces, I do actually respect he seems to believe in things.

It seems like Liz mostly turned herself into some kind of secular pseudo-saint. She was just the pope of arbitrary "Britishness."

You can claim to believe something in your secret heart of hearts, but if you do not act on that belief, you don't actually hold it.

I mean, I think it's pretty clear that they do. After all, if no one in the party actually believes this, they would stop it. The average Labour MP is on board with Starmer's program, or they would be doing something about it.

I thoroughly enjoyed the Siege of Terra, but I also imagine that reading those if you're not someone who got into playing with overly expensive plastic miniatures when you were ten, probably approximates the feeling of reading a pre-Christian gnostic text with no context or notes.

I mean, completely true. I have enjoyed a bunch of them, but there's like maybe two I would recommend to anyone normal and not infected with Warhammer parasites.

Even some of the good ones are completely indecipherable to people not afflicted.

Westminster types always heavily overegg people's "personal appeal" too. The idea that Creasy has some kind of fanbase is bizarre.
