Currently working from a folding table at my couch-I start every day thinking I don’t need my second screen
And then the next hour moving my mouse to the wrong edge of the screen and convincing myself I don’t need to adjust settings just because I can’t put the monitor on the same side every time

The Stardew Valley Cookbook is my favorite cookbook of 2024. It perfectly captures the cozy vibe of the game, while having knockout recipes - Everything we’ve cooked so far has been delicious, interesting, and fun. The roasted parsnips and Lucky Lunch are current household favorites.

I usually have three standard complaints about media / shows :
1. Not enough singing
2. Not feminist enough
3. Not gay enough

The Femme Von Follies LITerally Obscure! variety show exceeded my expectations in every way for all of the above.

Saved Hyrule again last night, for the first time as Princess Zelda. Echoes of Wisdom reminds me of Ocarina of Time plus Pokémon.
If I could change two things:
The final battle was too passive.
And I weirdly missed the random women flirting with me in game. Not even the Great Fairy!

Having a bit of a blue day- unsure if it’s weather, illness, hormones, stress or all of the above.

My bestie and I are always talking through new ideas for podcasts, blogs, content creation in general, because we love engaging with ideas and having opinions on them. But we can never decide on a “niche” and that holds us back from doing anything. Maybe nicheless content is the new niche…

The irony of being at a bookstore in Utah, with my girlfriend and our kids, and buying this sticker and having the cashier ask if I’m shopping with my friend.
To be fair, we went through line twice and family went out to the car ahead of me.

We’ve decided our family name is the spine collectors, because it is both macabre and a book pun which suits us nicely.

So here are our new stockings for this year:

A different lifetime ago, I worked in the most amazing public libraries. I left libraries to make more money and spend that money at local book stores and now my house practically is a library. Today is the day I take the comparison one step further: I’m getting a laser cutter. Next up: 3D printer?
