National cat day! The hardest working cats at @aapthq.bsky.social . They were running things last week and part of this week.

My orange cat, who is also a declared physicist, turned 20 today. He has health issues, but thanks to some luck, veterinary science, the means to pay for his health care (he started and has a union), and possibly not letting BS get to him, he keeps going.

His union stipulates time outside, even if it's hot.

Luka and I went outside to literally touch grass. Well, he touched mulch. He turned 6 yesterday!

I think he's my favorite, because his face often expresses how I'm feeling.

I had a great time at the NSBP/NSHP meeting for many reasons, but I'm especially pleased that the SPS booth let me take home this spherical cow bandana

Today at DTW. I am impressed with how good my phone's camera is, and I'm relieved it appears I'll get to take my flight, albeit super delayed.

The cat is grateful I'm home and not working so much. He of course also works hard.

This is my new favorite photo of the cat. His expression captures a lot of how I feel. Because a lot of people have asked, he has a skin condition which flares up. He then scratches his skin too much and has wounds.

My male cats enjoying a late night snack. Luka (almost 5) finished his faster than Grandad (over 18) and is waiting to see whether Granddad will leave any treats. They have their ups and downs, but they've always been good about sharing food.

I recently joined @optica.bsky.social as a Lifetime member. Today I received a package from them that included a book, a certificate, and a letter. Optica's branding game is strong- notice that they used their colors in the packaging.
