Currently looking to recruit ornithologists to the team in Belfast, graduate and/or consultant level. Hybrid working, lots of fieldwork, option for part time contracts too! Please share with anyone who wants to get paid to look at birds (and I’m pretty cool to work with too).

First bird of the year was a Grey Wagtail in my garden - not so unusual as there’s a river quite close by but a lovely surprise none the less!

Some recent #fieldwork scenes. I know I’m in the minority but winter ornithology is my favourite. Interesting winter migrant species and sunset views before dinner.

That’s fieldwork in the Sperrins cancelled this week then so
Slieve Gallion in County Derry is dressed in a snowy blanket this morning, captured beautifully from Cookstown, County Tyrone. A stunning shot by Pascal at Camera Plus. ❄️✨ #IrlSnow #Sneachta
