Let me just say this: if I want a newspaper focused on "personal liberties and free markets" I can read Bloomberg, The Economist, The Financial Times, and even the Wall Street Journal--all of which do a better job at this than the WaPo ever can.

The NYT really must stop this nonsense. Enough with this amateur anthropology. Are these beliefs bullshit, or are they not bullshit? If they are bullshit, then you, the journalist, must write, "he believes this, even though his beliefs are obviously bullshit."
