last jedi fucking blew because i had to watch kylo ren Exist, watch poe become sexist for some reason, watch finn get sidelined and, i dont know, be accused of being selfish or some shit, and the blue milk scene was just uncomfortable. rey should have killed kylo 0/10

like why couldnt wu have a fwb who was some lady who just wanted to sleep with her. whyd it have to be qz who was funnier acting like a shitty lil toddler with remarkably decent ideals than whatever dark romance lead he became near the end

4. i think i had this problem in the last book too, where a good chunk of the plot is just kinda zoomed through near the end which i get is largely due to it occurring in the chaos of battle and i do feel it did better than the first book. its just weird that most of the book is like hurry up--

3. i was honestly having a good time for a lot of the book, but qz+wz made me so upset for most of the end that i had nightmares and woke up at like 5am to finish it because i could not handle that guy getting his way and thankfully he didnt but i was still generally unhappy

i wish i knew why some of the women just kinda fell flat. i really wanted to like wan'er but i feel like she was left out of the loop so much that she may as well have been replaced by almost any other character. her personality almost never got to shine through.

2. there's things i genuinely enjoyed. i liked the scheming. i liked taiping, but a lot of the other women felt more like set pieces than like. characters. if asked i could probably write taiping but the other women itd be a lot more nebulous. idk. i enjoyed more women interaction

like its not even about iron triangle even tho i missed iron triangle so fucking much im just absolutely sick of male characters who treat women like relative shit getting what they want and it REALLY stung to see that in heavenly tyrant. also the pegging scene was way too short.

1. i really, really, really, i cannot emphasize this enough REALLY did not like qz+wz. like i kno the world is all about its Dark Romance or whatever the fuck right now and its not my thing but certain things just made me wanna puke. the degradation. 'kitten'. i threw the book i was so upset

the fact this literally happened (minus the beating to death) made me throw the book

qz tries calling wu kitten once and she beats him to death in the dreamscape

the only thing getting me through cramps these days is hallucinating shes an option and envisioning what she would say/do to soothe me 😔
