Among EU supporters, exclusive/inclusive identity determines the degree of openness to sharing welfare transnationally, highlighting the obstacles in building a solid foundation for sharing resources transnationally in the EU (6/n)

The level of support for transnational welfare access among the 'winners' of integration is about the same as the support for other transnational rights among low-educated individuals and exclusive identifiers, known for their scepticism towards European integration (5/n)

We find clear discrepancy in support for different rights under free movement: right to work, do business or live are widely accepted, but welfare access is a different story, highlighting important nuances in public opinion beyond support/opposition to key EU policies (3/n)

Poland has a new government led by the liberal pro-European Donald Tusk; many, including myself, thought this was nearly impossible after eight years of democratic backsliding under PiS. But, against all odds Poland is back!!
