Do you wish you could do something but don't know where to start? Start by doing nothing on Feb 28th. Do not support capitalism and large corporations in any way just for 24 hours on February 28th.
Don't shop at Amazon, Target, or Wal-Mart, don't eat fast food or dine at large chain restaurants.

Distraction and overwhelm create a sense of hopelessness. All the political actions happening at once are designed to make them seem powerful and unstoppable, but they're not. We all have power and politicians actually have less. There are many more of us than them and we have little left to lose.

It would be amazing if people were so outraged at the Nazi salute that it became an impetus to fund more research on Autism. Oh wait, 🤦🏻♀️ what was I thinking, the president who never once denounced the salute or the person who gave it is the same person who froze funding for any scientific research.

Don't obey in advance! Don't believe you're powerless! Don't stop fighting! You may think it's hopeless but it's not. Our calls, letters, and emails are getting through. Keep reminding them that the whole world is watching and protesting on our behalf. History will remember the choices they make.

When I was growing up it seemed like many professions had unions. Now, almost no unions exist. You know what else doesn't exist? Workplace safety protections, wage and cost of living increases, benefits packages, workplace funded pensions, employee advocacy, harassment prevention, and job security.

Today, in celebration of the birth of Christ express gratitude for the blessings you have been given because any of us could quickly go from being one who aids others to being one who is in need of aid. Christ taught us that everyone deserves food, clothing, shelter, health care, and respect.

When I worked as a server we were not allowed to sit down or drink anything anywhere except the break room which you could only be in if you're clocked out. So imagine doing a very physical job for 4-5 hours with nothing to drink while someone else is getting paid to do nothing for 6 months.

In case any of you have forgotten fox "news" is not a valid source of information. It is a "provider of entertainment." The whole point of their programming is to provoke fear and anger. Have you ever felt better after watching? Their goal has never been to provide impartial information reporting.

The day after the election in 2016 I was angry and scared. In 2024 I cried all day, missed work, and was in a functional freeze. The difference? 2016 was scary because we didn't know what to expect. In 2024 I cried because we did know what to expect and 1/3 of the country voted against HUMAN RIGHTS
