I'm Aleek “The Freak” Grindheim! The stylin', profilin', limousine riding, jet flying, kiss-stealing, wheelin' and dealin' son of a gun!
Just got my The Rhystic Storyteller today. Working on a silly little deck for it. Of course without any sleeves. Looking forward to creating many stories to tell.
BTW, my friend group is gushing over @timgaedke.com work on this card. You picked the perfect artist @rhysticstudies.bsky.social

Back again with today’s Card of the Day, Loxodon Warhammer. Originally printed in Mirrodin (MRD), this card has been reprinted several times, mainly in Commander Products, but I prefer to think of this card as an exemplary card for Cubes. Trample, Lifelink, +3 power, just can’t beat that.

Today’s card of the day is this Basic Island from Theros. Illustrated by Raoul Vitale. Made famous by Rhystic Studies on an episode of Shuffle up and Play. Name me a more powerful card in the history of Magic.

Today’s card of the day is Forgotten Creation. Originally printed in Shadows Over Innistrad. A one sided Windfall on an evasive body on two relevant creature types seems interesting at first. Then you see that it’s a 4 mana 3/3, unfortunately it doesn’t give as much value as a 4 mana ring I know of.

Card of the day is Thrive. A pretty neat common that was originally printed in Prophecy. I like designs like this where it doesn’t specify “your creatures” or “creatures you control”. This makes me want to think of some shenanigans that could make this unsuspecting common into a dangerous tool.

Card of the day is K’rrik, Son of Yawgmoth. Fun Fact, this was my first cEDH commander when my play group wanted to try cEDH in early 2021. Also, thanks to Modern Horizons 3, it’s now Modern legal. If you’re one of the unfortunate ones that play that format.

Finally got around to fixing my watch. Lost the tiny freaking screw 15 times, but we got it done.
