I'm not quite sure why people are hating on Avowed. It's a good enough game. It's got its issues but the standards were recently blown away by Baldurs Gate 3. If there was a second Avowed game that focused more on the character choices, emotions, and consequences I would play the heck out of it.

The thing about rouge-likes that draws me in is the fact that you can't really lose if the goal of the game is to lose and get stronger from it. Wow that's an oddly potent life lesson isn't it?

Playing Final Fantasy 14 is funny because sometimes I log on and do no combat gameplay. I just fish, or pick flowers. Thats the sign of a well rounded game.

It's the wildest thing. I get a more accomplished feeling from catching digital fish than real ones.

Reading One Piece via the library is wild because I'm not checking out one book, or a trilogy, I'm checking out a centum of books. I'm gonna have to visit a lot of libraries.

Forget loot goblins, I need to find a snack goblin. I wack it in the back of the head and get Ikes sandwiches.

Coral Island is one of the few cozy farming games to come around after Stardew Valley that feels truly complete.
