ICE is trying to deport Native American people to Mexico. This one from the Mescalero Apache Tribe.

That's right. People indigenous to the United States, tribal members. ICE is trying to remove them from the US.

This is the second verified incident I've heard about.

We were here 1st.

I love this so much!

At the inauguration, Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson wore a distinctive collar adorned with cowrie shells, which are believed to offer protection from evil in African traditions.

This choice mirrors the late Justice Ginsburg’s practice of using collars to convey a message.

Today, my job hurts. I'm a children's book reviewer. Today I'm reading an immigration picture book about the U.S. as a welcoming nation. This is not rare. Books about immigration are stories of optimism, love, and acceptance. But tomorrow, the stories will change. #writingcommunity #booksky #writing
