and that’s pretty much it
Erin is often tone-deaf, unlikeable, and humorless—all the makings of a good HW. She’s at her best when she’s playing defense, and a better cast would give her hell. Even the incessant pranking could almost be funny if the cast properly bullied her for it.

On a better cast, Racquel could be a great Greek chorus, cutting through the minutia to deliver perceptive reads. She has an interesting backstory to prod, and is willing to play ball. I mean, The bar is incredibly low in New York. She cleared it.

If Ubah didn’t seem so miserable filming a reality show, she might be a decent Housewife. Unfortunately, she’s unwilling to show much of her life and often struggles under the produced conceit. She could be a star. But does she want to be?

Jessel sank into the background after a breakout S1, as the cast dodged her at every turn. Still, her humor and willingness to film unsavory moments makes her a standout on this polished cast. Hopefully, someone actually challenges her next year. She’s up for it.

Sai crawled out of the depths of fan hatred with a pretty solid redemption arc. Yet, she muzzled herself to the point she was a total non-event all season. Her reunion performance shows she still has a fire in her. The question is: is it too little, too late?

Brynn deserves props for delivering the first new-RHONY moment to break containment. But her pathological lies often veered too far into murky territory. She simply isn’t skillful enough to perfect the balancing act. File under: Leah McSweeney 2.0.

Doing nothing isn't chic. You can’t outsmart the craft by acting above the franchise you’re willingly participating in, especially as someone the layman has no idea exists. She doesn’t show her family, partner, or an authentic thought. She is not a Real Housewife.

Rebecca was just an odd casting choice. What could’ve been a salacious insight into Scientology ended up as a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it friend-of. She served no purpose other than to be RHONY's Charrisse. This group has no idea how to handle a flop queen, anyway.
