Sorry to see that it got so few views, apparently this time of year is worst for view counts though (Spiffing Brit). I did like your suggestion for the junction to be 2 approach lanes on each roundabout, simplifies the whole junction massively.

"The council is revamping Samuel Street Pocket Park and is planning to put an entry point off Bright Street.
Residents support the park improvements but say the new gate should be off Richard Moon Street."

They said the line!

Interesting things I noticed:
South Shields is placed at the old station site.
They decided to draw Pelaw junction on the map, which seems odd.

Since it is remaining a one-way system, it sure would be terrible if cyclists took the lane and cycled at a very leisurely pace.

The council could not afford to maintain it, the previous govt refused to remove it for political reasons. Result? Chaos.

"though it makes clear that it would also require a whopping £94 million worth of repairs over that time period to allow it to remain safe to use. That report was prepared under an unsuccessful bid for £18 million of Government funding to demolish the structure"

EAPC is electrically-assisted pedal cycle. It just needs to be *capable* of being peddled.

As long as the motor is 250W it's still a legal EAPC, it just needs to be type approved (£55 at a DVSA centre).

Newcastle (upon-Tyne) has one (1) crossing (a toucan) that acts in this manner, on John Dobson St. And it's actually really useful.

It's also safer for quote posts. I'm not going to quote a post and say "This is great!" if the OP can just edit the post from saying "Donating $100 to kids in need" to "Actually Hitler was right"
