Let's cover live streaming. Though it's not as popular as it was a few years ago, it's still a thing. Simple live streaming can be done directly from many of the platforms (like Instagram Live or YouTube Live). For more flashy live streaming, look into OBS with stream keys! obsproject.com

What about newsletters? There's platforms like MailChimp or DotDigital which are decent (DotDigital is at least) but they're paid for. There's good free options now which combine blogging with newsletters, like Substack, Ghost or Button Down. I use Substack digitalthings.substack.com/p/issue-105-...

Canva is great for quick and dirty image editing (like adding text to images, cropping or changing contrast), particularly on mobile. But if you're looking for something more powerful, which won't be limited, then check out the unfortunately named GIMP www.gimp.org

Next up is image editing! I almost exclusively use Pixlr Express, which is free to create 3 images a day. It's a scaled down version of PhotoShop, but it does offer more technical solutions through the beefier Pixlr Editor. pixlr.com/express/

For free on mobile video editing, you can't beat TikTok or Instagram - just download your video onto your phone after you've edited it! Then you can post it wherever. You could also use Canva for simple mobile editing www.canva.com/video-editor/
