Solidarity!

It makes no sense to be an comic book writer today, especially now when shelves are so crowded, spaces are so limited and the risk aversion is higher than ever...

But we fight on through debt and rejection for the love of the medium and the stories we want to share.

It's too good! ❤️

Not every episode hits, but when it does there's nothing better.

I think you can safely blame how bad restaurants, retail and corporate offices have become on how bad the economy is right now along with the further exploitations of labor under capitalism.

So if you get crappy service next time you go to a sitdown restaurant, give the worker a break.

And I didn't even mention the economy right now and how broken everything is.

Money is shuffling into a giant AI hype bubble, so many businesses are disinvesting in human labor. Faulty kiosks and ChatGPT are replacing tens of thousands of people, and they suck.

The cherry on top of everything is being required to deal with people on a daily basis. Higher traffic areas or larger offices can be particularly exhausting.

You never know what each day or shift will bring. Some people are nasty to deal with. Others are fine, but it's still exhausting.

We exist in an economy where the limited money available is being redistributed, concentrated, embezzled and hoarded the higher up you go in the wealth brackets.

More millionaires, billionaires and soon-to-be trillionaires are made every year, but at the expense of everyone else.
