Soon, a large group of people lived in the alley, and they all seemed to look up to Ember. To see them as their leader. So eventually, the BECAME that leader. They stopped relying on simple shoplifting for food, and one day, they set out to kill OTHER ANTHROS and use them as FOOD.

Eventually, the two became good friends, as they grew up together in the alley, shoplifting for food and meeting other people like them, and offering to bring them to the alleyway.

The lizard sighs and shakes their head, picking Ember up with surprising strength, and carries them over to a makeshift bed inside of a dumpster, emptied and cleaned out and filled with blankets and pillows instead. "My name's Spongecake. Oh, and I go by he/him. What's yours?"

They blearily open their eyes to see a small, green, yellow, and mint lizard anthro standing over them. "Are you okay?" The lizard asks. Ember nods, trying to get up, only to fall back down again.
