After swearing off of it back when I had to mess with Red Hat in college... I have finally made the switch. I have moved to Linux as my daily driver. I really didn't want to migrate to the absolute spyware that is Windows 11... so I opted not to. Pretty great so far. Come on in, The water is fine!

It is done. Still one of the greatest games of all time.

This might be one of my favorite Lego sets of all time. Not just cause the nostalgia but like, there’s so many small little touches they did not need to do but did anyways. Clickable buttons. A mushy dpad. A cartridge that clicks in, etc. Just so so good.

It’s a super rainy day outside and I’m sitting here drinking tea and building legos with my fiancée as we watch Zelda video essays on youtube.

My first Switch 2 import arrived. As soon as I heard it had English on the cart and wasn’t a game key card I was like “hell yeah gotta nab it”. And some cool dude on Reddit made an English cover for it too

Helped a buddy sell a bunch of old games on fb marketplace cause he doesn't use social media. He straight up gifted me a Game Boy Micro for me efforts. Holy shit.

Fiancée and I were at a gaming convention today and finished it up seeing a show from The Living Tombstone. Someone was recording the concert with a 3DS. Absolute legend.

Even with the worse audio - I legit think this is my favorite way to play Earthbound by far. My previous experiences playing it on consoles was always loving the game kind of... in spite of itself? But as a handheld game? It's clicking perfectly for me like it never has before.

Was debating what to do with the portion of my beginning of year bonus that wasn't going to bills and ended up grabbing this as a birthday present to myself. Ips modded GBA. It's so nice.

Now gotta rebuild my childhood gameboy collection.
