I’m very fond of Edward Thomas work & lucky to live near Dymock in the landscape that inspired a number of his poems.

This village is also known for the colony of poets that gathered there in the early days of WWI. Several went on to die serving, including Edward Thomas & Rupert Brooke. The poetry inspired by this English landscape is lyric & beautiful.
