As someone who has played IX a great deal, this, this, this. It's such a fun game, one of my favorite DS RPGs. It improves on the class system of III and has a lot of main game content and post game content. The only downside is that it goes overboard on the puns.

Porydove and Sandpoke give me life. I especially love Porydove being borb and Sandpoke having texture on its body as well as the head :)

Great article about one of my favorite RPGs. Played it on the PS1 back in the day, then got the PSP version when I found it at store. The artwork, music, and gameplay are what stood out to me the most. Another part of Valkyrie Profile I enjoyed are the vignettes of your would be Einherjars.

TIL a table was made based off of Spy Hunter. I looked up pictures of it, first time I've seen a table where the main flippers are off center.

Now that I thought more about it Dromar and Crosis work well together as well. Bounce your opponent's creatures and then send them to the graveyard. Only downside is that Dromar bounces all creatures of the chosen color.
