Chibiko is my "low poly" #blender model from circa 2018. It has issues, but it's ready made and I've been using it to test my AI coded 3D model viewer, an experimental feature I want to integrate into my comic website.

A 3D viewer for This Mortal Coil. It's AI coded using Sonnet 4.5. I act like a producer with technical skills. I give the AI use cases and allow it to draw up the technical details, then I let it cook. Once it has something going we iterate. I didn't code any of this... The 3D model is mine though.

Eye switching! This is the first step in my prototype to build a VN character with expressions I can change.

The eyes are on a separate UV map and I can adjust the UVs to change the eye expression.

I'm using react-three-fiber, so the character is a component. The backdrop is one too.

I have a quad for the eyes + brows and it's using a separate tex map that's only got variations of the eyes. That texture is 1k x 1k right now because I want it to look good. I can manipulate the v coord of the uvs in Blender +/-.25 to adjust the 'v' value and change which eyes she uses. #blender

The future...

I'm playing with react-three-fiber. I split up this 2D illo of Kamiko and made a mesh for each part and put them on separate z-depths. I think some of the normals are wonky, but overall this works. Next... be able to change expressions.
