The Victoria line deliberately switches sides between Oxford Circus and Warren Street to allow for cross-platform interchange between the Northern Line at Euston - you can see it (and lots more) on the Cartometro map here: cartometro.com/cartes/metro...

Glasgow is known for its... mixed history with effective urbanism. The planners of the 60s and 70s got away with the crime of the M8 urban motorway (it was originally planned to surround the CBD!), but it is fortunate to have retained the decent suburban rail network and lovely toytown metro

Check out the British trains, such as the Class 43, the Class 170, the Class 380... We really can't get away from the class system

I occasionally buy a set of premium microfibre cloths to replace the smeary hateflannels that come with my glasses. One by one, the good cloths go missing until I surrender and buy another set. Do the crappy cloths go missing? No, of course not, they are *always* available at hand!

My experience is that Sainsbury's bananas never ripen. They turn to mush at 3am about 10 days after purchase

As a snooker and tennis fan, I really resent that Eurosport was absorbed by D+. I feel like every time I open the app, I'm taunted by another reality TV monstrosity that I now, unfortunately, support.
