When you order an $8 tachometer wire they mistakenly send you a $73+ racecar fuel fitting it's the car gods telling you what you must do.

Well I kinda have gauges... Few things not coming on that should, and speedo/tach not wired. Neither are 2 of the gauges that are on. Started up IMMEDIATLY though so that's still good. More tinkering to do.

And last 2 connectors. Just need to do the 12 or so wires in the elcamino to the pigtail I made, and I've got gauges. Pretty sure the oil pressure and water temp sensors are already installed... Just gotta make a tach wire with crimped end plug it all up.

Main plug done. Think there's 2 smaller plugs I gotta make for remaining wires.

Weekend in VRc was lovely.
Birthday party went well, got to see my friend who rarely comes around but is the cutest fox boy on earth.
Got some IRL stuff fixed and tested.
One more full week of work then a 2day week. Still loads to do and rainy week but feeling accomplished.

Spent today and yesterday upside down in the Miata trying to hook up my heater core.
It's a huge PITA but I cobbled together a fix. Had to cut the hard lines at the core long enough for a hose to be clamped, then installed a bulkhead connector to the firewall. Waaay easier to deal with "soft" lines

Got a large gauge terminal crimper for the starter wires in my Elco, got them nicely crimped and it turns over real powerful now, no melting. And fuel pump replacement went well, it's pumping new fuel TO carb but I think carb is gunked up, filter is dry and no fuel injecting. -_- time to learn carbs

Well 4 day weekend and didn't get much done on the elcamino. Re-replaced fuel pump, and found wire from batt to starter was loose on both ends, got to hot and melted the wire... Then I touched it like a dumbass... More work to do... -_-;

Fuel lines connected. Just waiting on carb fuel filters and I'll try to start it.

Finally got the straps bolted in.
Past 2 days felt jittery, weak, and sick. Today been a struggle trying to get things done while feeling like this but I'm managing. So much to do over my 4 day vacation.

Got my simulator frame home Friday (fucked up my feet doing it), and begun making space in the gaming room. Might get to a point today I can start working on it.
