The biggest moon of the year , shot with a 800mm lens yesterday evening above the Cunera Church in Rhenen, when it was rising behind a thin layer of clouds. The moon was about 8% bigger than normal because of its position to the earth.

Earlier this week storm hit the Dutch coastlines. This was a shot of the Oranjemolen that stands right next to the coast in Vlissingen. During storms like this you get this unreal scene that looks like a painting. I got soaking wet, but it was worth it!

Triple alignment with 2 windmills and the full moon this morning. For a moment it looked like clouds would ruin the shot, but the moon pushed through.

A beautiful morning last week in the Netherlands, the morning just after I returned from Greenland. Glad I woke up for this! Might be my favourite windmill photo this year :)
