A mushroom photo from last weekend with some beautiful light in the forest. Taken with my wide angle lens all the way on the ground. No, this is not AI. It's carefully choosing the right perspective , light and angle with a wide angle lens close to the mushroom.

The biggest moon of the year , shot with a 800mm lens yesterday evening above the Cunera Church in Rhenen, when it was rising behind a thin layer of clouds. The moon was about 8% bigger than normal because of its position to the earth.

Earlier this week storm hit the Dutch coastlines. This was a shot of the Oranjemolen that stands right next to the coast in Vlissingen. During storms like this you get this unreal scene that looks like a painting. I got soaking wet, but it was worth it!

The edit: Lifted the shadow detail, pulled back the highlights to get the moon detail, applied noise reduction. All in all basic editing.

things that came together here:

- The right orientation of the windmills. And one being in X position.
- All elements: moon, 2 windmills perfectly in line with each other at the right moment.

Triple alignment with 2 windmills and the full moon this morning. For a moment it looked like clouds would ruin the shot, but the moon pushed through.

A single shot of a moment were everything came together.

A beautiful morning last week in the Netherlands, the morning just after I returned from Greenland. Glad I woke up for this! Might be my favourite windmill photo this year :)

very intense night in Greenland a few days ago. I say 'night' because this light lasted all night.

Hues of Greenland. Different stories sorted by color schemes. Blue, oranges and yellows all night during the midnight sun.
